Our Wheat grain are perfect for standard expansions of spawn. They break up uniformly to help with even distribution of mushroom spawn media. Wheat grains have a good nutrient profile and water moisture profile. Our wheat is also malted to release sugars to help mycelium thrive. The transparent bags are perfect for viewing the spawn and are not full, allowing easy manipulation and breaking up of the spawn. The air exchange filter allows oxygen in and carbon dioxide out while retaining moisture. The filter also reduces contamination, though it doesn't eliminate all spores, such as trichoderma from entering, it does reduce contamination to a large degree with good hygienic practice.
